Job Seekers Allowance Claimants per Live Unfilled Jobcentre Vacancy

The number of employment opportunities – unfilled vacancies - combined with the number of people looking for work demonstrates the health of the local labour market. The lower the ratio the stronger the labour market.

The final update of this dataset was in November 2012 with the release of the October 2012 count. Q3 2012 is therefore the last publication on Devonomics.

Please note: Quarter 3 2010 missing due to vacancy data being withdrawn in September 2010 (which is why vacancy ratio reads '0')
