Self Employed

Self employment is where people work for themselves rather than for another person or company. Certain industries tend to support a high proportion of self-employment: notably those where work can be seasonal; have a stop-start profile; be short-term, or where people work for several companies at the same time. Within Devon self employment is higher than the national average.
